The short version
- We never sell or share anything that points to you, and there are no ads.
- Your ballot picks stay on your phone. We only count which party's candidates people choose as totals, by area, never tied to you.
- Your address is only used to find your districts, and we forget it within a day.
- We count visits to make the site better. You can turn that off below.
What we collect
Your address or ZIP, to look up your districts. We don't save it to any record, and our lookup cache forgets it within a day.
Visit counts: which pages were opened, what you clicked, what kind of device, which site sent you, and which district your ballot is for.
Party totals. When you make a pick, we may count which party's candidate it was, added up with everyone else's by area, such as a congressional district. We never record who you picked, and we never share or publish a total for a group smaller than 50 people.
If you make an account: your email and your settings. If you send feedback: your message, plus your email if you choose to give it.
How we count visits
We keep a temporary random ID on your device, reset every 30 days, so we can tell one visit from the next. It isn't tied to your name. Our reports only use totals, never that ID, and we erase it from our records after 30 days.
Topic trends
We add up which topics people read about into totals, like “housing was the most-read topic in Travis County this month.” We may share or sell these totals to researchers, reporters, and campaigns, on the same terms for every party. The totals we share never include your ID or any group smaller than 50 people, so nothing in them can be traced back to you.
Who else sees it
Cloudflare delivers the site and our hosting company runs it. ArcGIS and the US Census turn your address into districts. Google is involved only if you sign in with Google. Nobody else gets anything that points to you.

Your choices
Anyone can ask to see, fix, delete, or download what we have about them. Use the feedback page, choose “Privacy request,” and leave an email. We reply within 30 days.
Kids
pebblo isn't meant for children under 13. If we learn that we have a child's information, we delete it.
Changes
If this page changes, we'll update the date at the top. For big changes, we'll put a notice on the site 14 days ahead.
